Professional Decontamination and Disinfection
Our service is much more effective, much more efficient and much less expensive than hand washing and soaking with harsh chemicals. Hand washing and soaking of toys is labour intensive and costly.

Prevent the spread of germs and viruses
With HUBSCRUB, we disinfect and decontaminate with UV light all the smaller play things kids love to touch, helping to keep your facility healthy, clean and in business. This is thorough disinfecting and decontaminating at its best, all in a sealed unit.
We then remove the items, dry them with our purpose-built dryer and then treat the items with our water-based, food-safe product giving 30 days of pathogen protection. Regular cleaning is still required but much less time consuming and rigorous as before the use of the HUBSCRUB.
Why is it very important to reduce the number of bacteria?
When bacteria are present it does not automatically lead to infection. The vulnerability of the in-contact person and the infectious dose (number of bacteria required to cause an infection) are vitally important.
Susceptible individuals such as the very young, elderly and sick are more at risk from an opportunistic infection. Some bacteria will cause an infection with less than 100 cells ingested or introduced into cuts or wounds. For this reason, it’s important to reduce the numbers of harmful bacteria to the lowest number possible whenever the risk from infection is high.

Ultra Violet Disinfection
Our HUBSCRUB uses 4 UV lamps positioned in the unit to reach the major equipment surfaces.
Our UV lamps operate for 3 minutes at a time. Three minutes was tested by the VA Research Group and was confirmed to eliminate MRSA, C. diff and CRE*. CRE is one of the most difficult to kill. This short disinfectant time is a result of equipment surfaces being very close to the lamps (not more than 4 feet from any position). Our UV lamps provide a high level of disinfection and if other pathogens develop that require longer UV time, we can increase the exposure time.
*MRSA - Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, C. diff - Clostridioides difficile, CRE - Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales
30 Day Extra Protection
Our water-based 30 day protection product works by coating the surface with a layer of positively charged molecular pins. This protective layer attaches to the surface using a covalent bond which then attracts and kills negatively charged pathogens by rupturing their cells. When pathogens touch a protected surface, they burst and are destroyed, which means they can’t affect you and they can’t develop resistant traits (become superbugs). What’s more, this clever bursting action is effective on 99.9% of bacteria and has also been proven against a range of viruses.
